Guest medschoolboy
just wondering if you got accepted into ont/alb/bc med school this year (3rd year) would you go now or stay in undergrad a year to finish a BSc with a guarantee acceptance to a top tier american school for the 4th year? what if it wasn't guaranteed but had a "good" chance in the 4th year, would you take the risk? how big of a role does money play? what if money wasn't an issue? Guest byjude
Depends if you wanted to go to med school in Canada or the US. If status is that important to you, and you think a Canadian school doesn't offer you the power of the American brand, then wait a year. If you think you might always regret having "settled" for a Canadian school because you didn't have the patience to wait for the school you loved, then isn't it worth the wait?
