Hey everyone,

Is it worthwhile to buy a PDA (Palm, etc.) for use in the first two years of med school? Or should I just wait until rotations start and buy a newer model then?

Have any of you deferred (or known people deferring) med school registration for a year to complete the degree?

 

I'm caught between:

 

the PROs of deferral:

learning without stress & competition, take courses i like;

prep for med education;

broaden experience;

obtain a degree.

 

the CONs:

one more year of tuition/residence $$$

one year older when out of med

 

any suggestion/recommendation is welcome !!
