If anyone has done the research, what are the options the banks are offering for student loans? I heard Scotiabank will offer 25000 if you are in med. I also heard it's hard to get a student loan if you own a car. I'm guessing there are more than a few people who will need to know about their funding options.

Heya,

We've got that covered in the Orientation sessions that you will get in August. There's a number of bursaries that you are eligible to apply for in Brock Hall, and many senior med students have swung some wicked deals on loans from local banks. I don't really want to comment about it here, especially considering that I didn't do it myself, and am speaking from second-hand information, but I think you should get some help from your senior class-mates once you arrive.

If not, without doubt you'll start to hear stuff from within your own class as people start seeking out money.
