Here's a collection of links I wish I'd had easily available when trying to set up my electives, a list of all the electives offices for each medical school:

From West to East:

UBC Medical School Electives Office:

University of Alberta Medical School Electives Office:

University of Calgary Medical School Electives Office: Surgical Electives

University of Saskatchewan Medical School Electives Office:

(??? Anyone?)

University of Manitoba Medical School Electives Office: (here's the outdated link from 1997)

University of Western Ontario Medical School Electives Office:

Queens University Medical School Electives Office:

University of Ottawa Medical School Electives Office:

University of Toronto Medical School Electives Office:

McMaster University Medical School Electives Office:

McGill University Medical School Electives Office:

Dalhousie University Medical School Electives Office:

Memorial University Medical School Electives Office:

If anyone knows the websites for the electives offices of the Quebec medical schools, or websites for doing electives in say rural Ontario, please post them as replies, and I'll edit them into this main message.

Thanks!

ROMP Rural Ontario Medical Programme electives info

www.romponline.com/undergra.htm

Université de Montréal

There's some info for U de M students about electives (stages à option) during the clerkship (externat) at www-1ercycle.med.umontrea...ption.html but nothing about how'd non-U de M people would set up electives there... it doesn't even say if non-students can come by. But maybe if you asked the Clerkship Secretary at www-1ercycle.med.umontrea...autre.html she might be able to help.

Edited for the U de M blurb
