However, I have a job in Toronto for the summer which is supposed to end on September 10th. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how important is the 1st week of school. Is the initiation any good? Would I be missing out on important things if I missedthe first few days? Any help would be appreciated. However, you still have classes on the first week interspearced within the initiation activities. If you're comfortable with missing classes - then it's ok - nothing particularly more important because it's the first one... You do however get info on the classes,the books to buy and all that stuff - just like the beginning of any year - but that's up to you to decide whether or not to miss it.
