Guest SimonDrouin
I was wondering if Laval had the same policy as udm when it comes to the french exam. Can you get refused if you don't score high enough or do they just make you take an extra french course?
Guest cutieyellow
Laval has a french exam requirement, but it is fulfilled after you've been accepted. Therefore, it doesn't affect your acceptance at all. The French exam is required if you haven't done your CEGEP in french. You need a 60% to pass (it's a REALLY HARD exam btw, a lot harder than the Montreal one-it encompasses all the exceptions in the book, everything you've ever learned like caillous vs cailloux...etc). However, if you fail, all you are required to do is to take a french class. Not too bad, considering the stakes at UdeM. CY

Guest SimonDrouin
Oh phew, thanks that's a big stress reliever. I don't mind taking an extra course if I fail but not being able to register at udm is quite stressful.
