Paramedicine 2005 may appeal to people interested in paramedicine or emergency medicine. The conference is being held at the Marriott Hotel in Ottawa between September 16 and 18. (BTW, next year's conference will be in Toronto from September 15-17, 2006, and will be a joint conference between the Ontario Paramedic Association and Sunnybrook's Emergency Medicine Physicians.) The student rate is $100 for the conference.

Information about this year's conference can be found at www.ottawaparamedics.ca/p...in.asp?a=1 I've been told that packages were also sent out to all Ontario medical schools.

"Education is the primary focus of Paramedicine 2005. P2005 will begin with a selection of two preconference workshops that will be provided by Critical Care Flight Paramedics from Canadian Helicopters. The remainder of the conference will also feature an impressive assortment of speakers at the plenary sessions and concurrent CME's."

Shouldn't this be posted in the ottawa med section or med section, it doesn't seem like a pre-med thing, sounds interesting though, have fun everyone. :P
