Guest archchivalry
I heard that some med schools require stat course as a pre-req, and since it is mandatory to get my degree in medical science at UWO, I was going to take Stat222a/b. However, I have an option for taking either Stat 222a/b or Bio244a/b. Would med schools consider Bio244a/b as a stat pre-req? or should I take 222a/b. I was thinking to take Bio244a/b because it is still a stat course and it is less rigorous than stat 222a/b. If there is anyone from UWO, your comment will be very appriciated. Thanks! Guest squishymichy
Hi, I went to Western and took 222b. Having never once gone to class, I can say it is still easy to get a high mark, and there is no lab component. Bio 244 has a lab component, which didn't appeal to me, but regardless, because UWO considers the courses antirequisites of each other, other med schools should also consider 244 a sufficient stats course.
