Guest niloo8448
hi there... maybe someone can help me out here: Should I get high-speed Internet access ($350/year), or is the 56.5kb/sec ($130/year) enough to access the med curriculum info from home?? I know the 56.5kb is slower, but is it good enough?? (I'm on a budget!!) thanks, niloo
Guest mollybear
Hi Niloo! Personally I think having high speed internet access is awesome and I would recommend it. Many of my classmates (07's) have high speed - I think that its extremely useful particularly when doing PBL - there are a lot of great resources on the web and I wouldn't want to waste time with a slow connection. Also, our lectures are all available on the web (we also get paper copies) and also classmates are always passing around great websites for certain topics etc. Also, in the long run, we pay SOOOO much money in tuition etc that a few hundred here or there really won't make a huge difference!
