UBC vs. Toronto

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to decide between attending UBC or U of T. I live on Vancouver Island, so in terms of moving and being comfortable it's definitely UBC, but lots of doctors and other people tell me Toronto is number 1 by far, and I should go there. Does anyone know if it really is that much better than other schools? Do you get a better education or better residency match if you go to Toronto?

Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
