Guest MW
Hey everyone, I have just gotten accepted to Health Sci and is seriously considering going there...Can any one tell me more about the problem-based learning there? More specifically, are the stuff you learn from the inquiry courses helpful on the MCAT?
Guest notmacbut
I thought it was interesting you'd ask about the MCAT if you were going to Mac for undergrad, since its med school is the only one that doesn't use it. I am not in that school but from what I know it's great for figuring out if meds is the right thing for you. If you know you're smart enough to get into meds for sure, it might give you a boost in first yr meds. However if you in fact want GPA boosting then I think it's no better than any other life science-type degrees offered elsewhere.
