AJR Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 Hi, I've got a bit of a dilemma. I'm franco-ontarienne and also métis. Last year I applied to the University of Ottawa with the general french group, I got an interview and was put on the waiting list. This year I'm considering declaring my aboriginal heritage and asking to be put in the aboriginal applicants group. I'm wondering if anyone else has been through the process of applying as an aboriginal student, or knows someone who has, and how was the experience?
