nuki9
Does anyone know exactly what should be included in the letter of introduction to apply through CNFS and when it is due? Is it simply to say that you are applying through CNFS or should more info be included? Is this the only extra step besides the OMSAS application? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks! Kuantum
Still, what is CNFS? It's something you don't need to worry about right now. Its French for the group of Francophone Canadians that don't live in the Ottawa or Quebec region but are interested in learning in a bilingual curriculum at the University of Ottawa. Talon01
Still, what is CNFS? Did you click the link? "In January 1999, the Department of Canadian Heritage announced the creation of the Centre national de formation en santé en français (CNFS) to ensure better co-ordination of training in various health disciplines in French. The Centre, which is administered by the University of Ottawa, makes French-language programs of study in health offered by the University and other partners available to the communities. Thanks to the CNFS, the University of Ottawa, in co-operation with other educational institutions of Canada's Francophonie, such as those belonging to the Regroupement des universités de la francophonie hors Québec and French-language community colleges, contributes to the training of professionals able to provide health care in French in the various French-speaking minority communities in Canada."
