Intentionally failing a Class

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew about UofS' policy on a failed course? I'm in my 2nd year now and taking 5 courses this term. If I intentionally fail a course this term and take 6 courses next term to give me 30 credits either ways, will the university count the failed course in the GPA calculations? Thanks

I agree that withdrawing is a much better option than intentionally failing a course. I am not sure about what the policy is in Usask, but for some other universities ie UBC (if you're planning to apply elsewhere), will average the marks for that course if you failed it and take it again, so it will lower your mark for that course significantly
