Guest Jochi1543
I guess I'm in the minority for not watching this stuff.....I've seen 2 or 3 episodes of House and found the show to be overly dramatic and all characters beyond House extremely superficial. But then again, I watch little TV, period.
Guest wattyjl
scrubs all the way. i haven't seen the other shows (save ER, like, 9yrs ago) so technically i can't compare, but scrubs is still better . and forget watching broadcast TV, downloading and watching commercial-free is the only way to go. at least until the rest of the scrubs dvds come out. Guest Chowchilla
scrubs is the only 'doctor show' i watch now on t.v. it's funny. i used to watch e.r. until last year, but then the episodes really began to get boring and predictable so i stopped. Guest leviathan
The only one I used to watch were ER and Scrubs. ER has gone downhill since all the old characters left and were replaced by tools like Shane West. Scrubs used to be hilarious but it became too predictable in the plots...but maybe they started pumping out some creativity again, I haven't seen it in almost a year. Guest jehohertz
Not quite. Ugh. They put Scrubs and Fear Factor in the same sentence. "Fan favorites "Scrubs" and "Fear Factor" will also return to the NBC schedule at some point next season." www.thefutoncritic.com/cg...50516nbc01 In the meantime, great collection of quotes: www.listology.com/content...t_id.12140

Guest wattyjl
scrubs isn't cancelled, it's renewed for season 5, they (NBC) just don't know when their going to schedule it. they keep shoving it around the timeslots, knowing that the core fans will follow it. Guest squeegy80
wab, MedStudents finished its season about a month ago, and I haven't seen any reruns since then. Not sure if they filmed another season or not, so we might be out of luck for good
Guest marbledust
ER was my favorite show and I watched it religiously until 2 years ago. The whole "Carter in Africa" thing made me lose interest. I haven't made up my mind about House yet--it's okay, I guess. One show I did like, although I can't for the life of me figure out why, was Medical Investigation. A truly horrible show about a team of infectious disease specialists. It was bad...so bad I couldn't stop watching it. But alas, it has been cancelled. And the show that replaced it--the new Law and Order--has also been cancelled. No more committing to new shows for me!
Guest chenzy
My favorite doc show by far is Crisis Zone, stories of the Medecins Sans Frotiers.

Guest leviathan
The worst show I've ever seen was "Untold stories in the ER" on Life or one of those channels....it is played out like it was a reality show, but I could tell almost instantly from the cheesy acting and the inaccurate medicine and such that it was fake. Guest UWOMED2005
Anybody seen the Surgeons? It's on the Discovery Health Network. Wed night they're featuring one of the London (UWO) trauma consultants. Check out the lovely (silent) med student assistant. . .
Guest MikeD
I caught that one on Saturday... Great performance UWOMED!...despite the sad gastric cancer case. From what I heard from the surgeon, that IMPACT stunt sounded like it was pulled every Wednesday....wow, is that true?
Guest UWOMED2005
that IMPACT stunt sounded like it was pulled every Wednesday Hmm. . . I actually haven't seen the whole episode myself and can't remember what you're talking about. . . The gastric cancer case was extremely sad. Especially 1st hand. I was worried they would include parts where I was 'pimped' during the surgery on mortality stats for gastric cancer. . . not good. I'm glad it was edited out. I don't think I should comment more than that.
Guest MikeD
In case you don't get a chance to watch, they had a bunch of high schoolers in the ER bay and were showing clips of trauma cases after drunk driving or drug abuse incidents. Then they wheeled in one of their high school buddies who wasn't with them that day. The high school friend was all made up with ER quality makeup and fake blood and everything. They played it out like a real trauma for good chunk of time. Then it ends with the classic gotcha....now don't drink and drive!
