nonce
Question What type of aortic aneurysm is atherosclerosis most commonly associated with? I know that AAA's are usually due to/associated with atherosclerosis. I know that TAA's can occur with athersclerosis. However, on an exam, it was asked if a patient has atherosclerosis and develops an aortic aneurysm....where is it likely to be? i dont know all of the options, but the two i narrowed it down to were a)descending thoraci/thoraco-lumbar (same option) or abdominal. Thanks in advance.
GABA
Abdominal; atherosclerosis is implicated in like 90% of cases.
