i tried logging onto beartracks and didn't really remember my password too well, so i tried multiple ones. eventually i got the right one, but when i entered it, it says 'account has been disabled'. Is this because i had too many login attempts and has been disabled for a period of time, or is there something seriously wrong with my application?

No, that will happen to anybody who logs in too many times, it has nothing to do with your application.

The only remedy is to email the RO to reset your password.
