bellaortho
Hello... I am new to this, but it seems straightfoward I just received news that I am granted an interview for UBC! However, I was wondering if anyone knew why there are only 3 or 4 third year students picked from the batch, compared to fourth years? I look forward to chatting with you all in the next coming months! ________ Ox99-
Katrina
4th years will have a full honors undergrad degree by the time they start dental school. Probably age/maturity plays a factor. Also those in the 4th year catagory could be people who have taken a year off between graduating and starting DS so the pool is larger. These are reasons I can forsee...anyone else got anything? bellaortho
Hi Katrina: Thanx for your reply. I talked to a UBC graduate and he mentioned that the reason there are less 3rd years is because usually people need a 4th year to drop their lowest year. The chances of a 3rd year having the GPA it takes to get in is not as high as a 4th year who has been able to drop their lowest year. Maybe it's true?! ________ FORD BORDEAUX AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS HISTORY
