nbgurl
Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knew when the first batch of accept/reject letters would be sent out? I'm assuming I will hear earlier this year as I interviewed the first day where as last year I was the last weekend.
Madz25
Hi, first round usually goes out in mid-late March. Last year I interviewed on the first day and didn't hear ANYTHING until May. So interviewing earlier or later has nothing to do with it. Good luck!!
JewelLeigh
As well, there was only 1 main interview weekend for all maritime applicants this year...so when you interviewed will truly have nothing to do with the timing of your acceptance/rejection/deferral letter. andros
Hey, I've never been involved in the admission process, but in previous years you can get an acceptance as early as mid-late Feb.
MSc-microbiology
It is my understanding, after speaking with Sharon, that the Adcom is meeting weekly to make decisions. Each member presents approx. 2 applications per meeting. These decisions, however, are only being sent out on the last wednesday of every month (starting with February). Therefore, all decisions that will have been made last month (January) and for the first part of this month (February)... should be released on Feb. 28th. The next batch of decisions .... should be released on March 28th. Accepted/not accepted decisions will be mailed out, while deferred decisions will be sent by email. Hope this helps
