bellaortho
depends what school you apply to and what the rules are when you apply. I find the best thing to do is check on the websites of the schools that interest you. It's usually pretty straightforward to find from there ________ MISS BELVEDERE
Raam
I want to apply to UofT or Western but it says as you can seen from the two paragraphs below that courses taken in the academic year, during the proposed year of entry, will not be included in the calculation of the applicant's cumulative GPA but below that it says that the worst will be dropped as long as the year with the lowest is not the last year, so does that mean if im doing my B.Sc, they will consider my 3rd and 4th or 2nd and 3rd since I did bad on my first. Note that courses taken in the academic year, during the proposed year of entry, will not be included in the calculation of the applicant's cumulative GPA. Any offer of admission, however, will be contingent upon the successful applicant maintaining an annual GPA of at least 2.7 (4.0 scale) for their current academic year. * The worst academic year will be dropped from the calculation of an applicant's cumulative grade point average provided that (a) the applicant has completed four or more years of university education by May 31st of the proposed year of entry, and ( the year with the lowest grades is not the applicant's last year of study. If you apply during 3rd year, your 1st and 2nd years will count (not your current 3rd year). If you apply in 4th year, your current 4th year will not "count" in the GPA calculation, but yes, they'll drop your 1st year if it's the worst...so your 2nd and 3rd year will count. You're asked to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7 in your 4th year however if you are accepted, which is easy.
