Vector
I need to take off somewhere between a week-and-a-half and 2 weeks in November for a family event of utmost importance. Has anyone been in this boat or been in a case where they were ill for a similar amount of time? If so, were you able to cope with it? What were some of your coping strategies. Other questions: does the faculty need to be notified, and if so, does one notify anyone in particular? Any thoughts at all would be much appreciated. Curious P
You may want to check with the admissions staff and see what they say. Queen's doesn't require attendance at lectures, and exams are only at the end of the term, so technically I think you'll be fine, but I have no idea about group work etc. If it's an important activity, it's an important activity, and I doubt anyone wouldn't understand.
