JOTCH Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 Hey, Is a Francophone of Ottawa automatically placed in the French stream pool and a francophone of Ontario in the CNFS or do we get to choose? Julie Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 CNFS is for francophones outside of Ontario... so if you're from Ottawa, you're not elligible. CNFS students are chosen based on the same criteria, but the cutoffs are different. There are 8 CNFS seats, they are separate from the francophone seats, so applicants from CNFS are not competing in the same pool as everyone else. Hope this answers your questions! good luck!
