Guest bmw
Hi there, Only McMaster needs this? Can this be done on OMSAS online application? Thanks.
Guest tirisa
Hi BMW, Sorry I don't have a response for you... but could you please explain a bit more about what a 'registar statement" is?? I'm applying to Mac and don't seem to recall hearing or reading about this anywhere. I would appreciate any info you can give. Cheers, Tirisa
Guest bmw
Hi tirisa, Please see below message, it is on OMSAS instruction booklet. Registrar Statements Please note that transcripts do not always report the fall/ winter/summer 2003/2004 courses in which applicants are registered. Therefore applicants must arrange to have the Registrar of the institution that they are attending send a statement of registration and a list of courses to OMSAS by October 15, 2003. When undergraduate courses are in progress at the time of application, applicants must submit a Registrar Statement by October 15, 2003. This is particularly important to establish that the applicant will have satisfied the minimum academic requirement by June 2004. A similar rule applies to graduate work in progress by October 15, 2003.
Guest tirisa
Great, thanks so much. (I likely overlooked this since it doesn't apply to me, as I'm not a current student :\ ) I do hope someone can answer your question though. Best of luck. Guest aneliz
Most people's transcripts will list any current courses with a designation like 'IP' (in progress) with them instead of a grade. You need to ask your registrars office if this is the case for your school. If it is NOT (ie your transcript shows only completed courses) then you need your registrar to send a copy of your current year registered courses to OMSAS as well as your transcript. I don't think that this will apply to many people...but it is worth checking out!

Guest Lactic Folly
Gave me a bit of a scare there - I never saw that paragraph since I'm not applying to McMaster - I guess this is a school-specific thing?
