tmacgirl
1. GPA: So first year for me was horrible and then second year with a whole new attitude I did REALLY WELL 1st year: 2.0 2nd year: 3.9 If I am able to keep on getting a high GPA will I be able to get into any school in Ontario? Or should I just focus on another career? Also what year do most people apply in?

RedRevolution
Keep that up and do well on the DAT and you will be competitive. I believe toronto will drop your worst year (mind you that toronto now only accepts 4 year degrees) and western looks at only two of your best years. Good luck and keep up that new attitude... tmacgirl
Yeah I'm doing a four year degree at Toronto. I was wondering when would be the best time to take the DAT.
RedRevolution
I have heard that feb might be an easier time to take it, but I really don't think it makes a difference. Just take it when you believe it to be best for you according to your schedule.
bkoh
Don't worry too much about it, as long as your GPA for 3rd and 4th resemble your 2nd year, I don't think you'd have a problem. Its a good character to be able to improve from past mistakes. Best of luck!

Cicero
Not really, you need to have the asked CRU to get in. If dentistry is 32.5 and your first year you got 37, then the second it went down to 33, it doesn't matter how bad you did, you still get it since you have 32.5 and over.
