ccoh
lol Aranndil, you can't be that young if you already have a degree, are you? the biggest chunk by far are 21 and 22, it's just inflated from the 5 of us in our 30's (31, 34, 35(me), 36, 36). I thought 23 was young, what are the other schools coming in at?

kgmed23
I wonder if they scale averages? I was told by someone (not sure how much of it is true) that depending on the school, your scores can be scaled up slightly. Anyone care to shed some light on this? UofS2010
Depending on the school you are from, your GPA grade gets converted into a percentage: i.e for example at ubc it would be converted as follows A+ = 95% A = 87% A- = 83% B+ = 77% etc etc....usually its the middle % that your mark will be converted to ie if an A+ is 90-100% at your school, you will get 95% for it. Then you add up all your %'s and average it out.
kgmed23
Actually, I have heard UBC takes the lower end of the percentage for letter grade conversions ie. A+=90 I went to UBC and my grades were reported in percent. I am wondering if they are just going to use the percent or convert the letter grades into percent. UofS2010
yes my bad sorry.....ubc does just use your % because u get a letter grade and a %. But i'm pretty sure you won't get a 90% for an A+ if the institution only gives letter grades, b/c the interview cutoff was 91% for OOP
