For anyone that is on one of these contracts I have a few questions: 1.) Do you have a time limit within which you must complete the ROS? (I was thinking of fellowships overseas, or just work overseas in general after completing training and how an ROS could interfere with this if it specified a time limit.) 2.) Guest gleevec Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 The CARMs website has links to several of the ROS agreements that you would have to sign. http://www.carms.ca/eng/r1_eligibility_prov_e.shtml I scanned through one and the way I read it, you must begin the ROS within 3 months of graduation or pay them back for the residency. I'm not sure how this effects fellowship opportunities. It may be best to call up the programs that you are interested in and ask them how flexible they are.
