paddy
I was under the impression that a majority of med schools only look at your top 2 consecutive years for admittance. Is this true? or does anyone know which specific schools do this?

Is this true? or does anyone know which specific schools do this? Each school considers different courses/years when evaluating your GPA. Some schools look at your best two years (eg: Western), others your most recent two years (eg: Dalhousie, Queen's - but only if you don't meet the cut-off with your overall GPA), others a weighted average favouring your most recent 3 years (eg: Ottawa, NOSM), others removing a certain number of courses based on how many courses you've completed (eg: Toronto, Manitoba) and others all courses ever taken (eg: Mac). Schools that only consider two years include Western, Queen's, Dalhousie, Calgary and Saskatchewan (I think Sask - it has been several years since I checked.). Madz25
every school is different. some consider top 2 full time. others consider last 2 full time years. some look at all courses. check with each schools website or use the search function, or look through old threads in the "general discussions" forum.
