verbally_abused
is it wise to pull an all-nighter the day before the interview if one hasn't got enough practice ? ie. getting cold feet

lostintime
Lol I don't think one could ever be "ready". You can never learn enough about the healthcare system, politics, or even yourself...hahahah....Of course, if you still don't know why you wanna be a doctor the night before..I might be a bit worried lol. gogopogo
if you still don't know why you wanna be a doctor the night before..I might be a bit worried lol. I agree with this. Get good sleep, and be yourself. You aren't supposed to know all the answers perfectly, verbally. Plus, being tired, compounded by trying to search for "perfect" answers while answering these questions will 100% guaranteed be recognized and noted by your interviewers. In a bad way. Accept that you may not have all the answers. IMO a pretty darn important doctor trait.
Orchid
dont stay up all night but at the same time if you find the need the night before to go over stuff... feel free, just dont break ur confidence. do what u need to feel the most 'prime' walking into the interview. cheers
mbene085
Definitely do your preparation beforehand (i.e. the weeks leading up to the interview). Freaking out the night before the exam will destroy your confidence. You won't likely be doing yourself a favour by trying to do any preparation in that one night. If it'll help you relax, go over a few things to "show yourself" how prepared you are. Anything beyond that will probably just stress you (of COURSE you can always find things you haven't thought of yet).

The_B
Bad idea in my mind. You'll be a combination of tired and practiced. If you come across as fake, it isn't ideal. Remember, interviews are about getting to know you, not what you know.
p0795195
I went to see the Foo Fighters the night before my interview and I did great so dont stress out too much, know yourself and be ready to express yourself concisely and with lots of fluidity. reminisce
I went to see the Foo Fighters the night before my interview... Foo fighters =) An excellent way to relax before an interview in my opinion. I just had supper with a few friends to take the edge off before mine. Definitely helped for me.
