RuralDoc Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 The Society of Rural Physicians of Canada holds their annual Rural and Remote Conference in Halifax this year from April 17-19. I will be there and am encouraging anyone interested in rural medicine to look into attending. There is also a special interest stream at the conference for rural specialists. PM me if you need more info or just check out the SRPC website. A lot of med schools/programs have some funding available for conference registration fees and travel. They also have several events and sessions planned for students and residents, including social events, practices SOOs, and an info session on carms.
