Clinical Pharmacology

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Clinical Pharmacology? I gather that you need to do 4 years of Internal Medicine, then 2 years of a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology? What are the research opportunities? Which schools offer spots (it seems like not many)?

If you could provide me with some information, that would be GREAT.

Thank you very much.

I just found out yesterday that clinical pharm even existed (while looking up peds subspecialties).

Above is a link to U of T's post-grad med training page. It describes the subpecialities they offer including clin pharm.

I am not sure what other schools offer it. Unfortunately for fellowships there is not centralized information site (like carms for R-1 entry residency) so you have to go to each school's site for info....and some sites are better than others!

Good luck
