Sutler
do the universities account in their gpa calculations if you're improving year to year gradewise? (and possibly add some bonus marks?)
stefanci
lol, nah leave the bonus marks for high school lol i wish they did though! they do look at your application a bit better if it increases though
redribbon
Really? Which universities look at you better if you increase GPA wise by year? I haven't read that anywhere.
KennethToronto
Really? Which universities look at you better if you increase GPA wise by year? I haven't read that anywhere. Another premed myth. Everyone just assumes they care about GPA trends...but there's absolutely no evidence they do or how this might be factored into the admissions process. webshy
Really? Which universities look at you better if you increase GPA wise by year? I haven't read that anywhere. Only universities such as Ottawa that have a weighting formula making more recent years count for more or universities such as Queen's and Dalhousie that look at your most recent two years. (In the case of Queen's, they will look at either your overall GPA or your GPA from you most recent two years.) Elaine
unknown user 7
Yeah, its not true...all that really matters is that you at least meet their gpa cutoffs. Lol. I can't tell you how many times I hear this myth mentioned by premeds.
