Jamer
I remember a user posted a thread like this earlier, contacted admissions, and they wouldn't tell him. I can't imagine it's too dissimilar, though.
Flame219
I heard that they use the same conversion system as UofC, I read about it in a thread last year.

Jamer
Those weren't the cutoffs. They were the averages of those granted an interview.

Jochi1543
i thought calgary had cutoffs, not alberta what's the deal? how do they choose people to interview? You're right, it's U of C that has cutoffs, Alberta evaluates the entire app.

Jochi1543
how're their OOP stat cutoffs? At U of A? They don't have strict cut-offs, but I'm sure that perusing the Accepted/Rejected thread at the top could give you some ideas of what type of stats a successful OOP applicant might need. The Law
Call the Registrar's Office; they handle all the transcripts for med school applicants. Here's the scale they gave me a couple years ago for Ontario: 87-100: 4.0 86: 3.9 83-85: 3.8 82: 3.7 81: 3.6 80: 3.5 This is the one I got around the same time: 87-100 = A/A+ = 4.0 82 = A- = 3.7 78 = B+ = 3.3 75 = B = 3.0 71 = B- = 2.7 68 = C+ = 2.3 65 = C = 2.0 60 = C- = 1.7 An 86 being a 3.7?? It sounds insane to me lol. Unless... it's a combination of the one I got and Jixe got?
Dr_007
Those conversions are percentages to the UofA gpa scale. I'm from York and they give grade letters. An 80-89 is an A for us. How do they possibly convert that to a UofA gpa scale?
Wut?
Those conversions are percentages to the UofA gpa scale. I'm from York and they give grade letters. An 80-89 is an A for us. How do they possibly convert that to a UofA gpa scale? Grade letters don't convert over unless you're on a 4.3 scale.
