So Admissions emailed me indicating that I was shy two credits of the 90 credit requirement. How did I miss that? In any case, I guess I'll be taking an extra course next semester, though I'm not sure if any courses I am eligible to take will still have available seats. Has anybody else received a headache-inducing email from our lovely Admissions Team?

I wonder if that is a good thing....maybe your application is very strong and they want you in...you just have to complete what is required to get an interview...I don't know...that is mere speculation

As much as I would like to think your speculation is true, haha, I'm pretty sure they are currently sifting through applications to ensure that basic requirements are met at this time, leading me to speculate that they have not gotten to the "meat" of our applications as of yet.
