Sask App Lots of Applicants?

Hi guys, this is my first time applying to medical schools, so i'm just curious... does Sask get a ton of applications? I found sask to be quite an easy application (took me like 30 mins, and most of it was just dedicated to getting my photo right, cropping it in photoshop)... like Queen's got +1k apps b/c they cancelled the essay... while.. sask has like nothing to do at all.. it's honestly just press submit and pay.

They get 300-400 applicants for 6 spots. (OOP).

 

This is about a ratio of 50:1. Interview ratio of 6:1.

 

Queens gets 3000 applicants for 100 spots.

 

This is a ratio of 30:1. Interview ratio of 6:1.

you have one application to each place. n=1.

 

stats mean nothing when applied to the individual. if you truly believe in yourself, to hell with the numbers. go for it.

 

unless, as randy pausch says, you truly believe you are captain kirk. in which case you should still go for it, if only for the amusement of others.
