xtapolapocetl
So if you got all A+'s in one year at your University and all A's in your second year, than your GPA will be 4.0 for BOTH years My OMSAS GPA is 3.92 According to this McGill system, my GPA is 4.0 for all 4 years. I did really bad in carving but everything else was 19 and above.
hopefuldent
Deja vu, Do you mean with regards to acceptances not all being decided or for the waitlist/rejections? Did you get in too?
deja vu
Just got an email. Everyone contacted by phone confirmed their acceptance. All others on the waitlist. No, I'm waitlisted.
T00thFairy
I still haven't got an email yet! Why is it that seemingly everyone has either got a rejection or an acceptance by now, but I've got neither?!
grandfinale
So just to clarify, all of us who didn't receive an offer and had an interview are on the wait list or have they narrowed it down at all at this point?

T00thFairy
yeah my minerva status was updated this morning. waitlisted is there any way to figure out where we are on the waitlist?
grandfinale
I actually found out from Patricia that she figured out the waitlist spots last night since a lot of people asked. I'm number 2. She said it went to number 13 last year...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. So she'll probably tell you if you ask.

Michael777
Hey, this might sound like a dumb question....but did you have to be in 4th year to apply to McGill or could you have applied out of third year too? Thanks
xtapolapocetl
"Applicants must have received an undergraduate degree or be in the final year of a course of study at a recognized college or university in a program leading to an undergraduate degree consisting of 120 credits over eight semesters following completion of high school." -http://www.mcgill.ca/dentistry/admissions/undergrad/dmd/ Yes, the earliest one can apply for the 4-year DMD program is during their 4th year of a 4-year (eight semesters) bachelor's program.
