hey this isn't bad

I have very similar stat and applied last year

UBC does take one year off (the condition attached is that it can't be the most recent years.. that probably just means 3rd or 4 th year)

Unfortunately, the honour degree you got wouldn't help you at all (I know this sux)

UBC simply doesn't care about honour or major, you don't get advantage

The Msc you are doing will probably give you some advantage

How about extra curriculums? and references? You have good ECs?

I think UBC begins to weigh more on good ECs as well

When I applied last year

My DAT was 18 TS and 21 Carving + PAT, above average ECs (the admission told me) and 80% average

I missed the interview cut off by 2%

I retook Feb DAT and got 20TS/ 20 carving + PAT

My suggestion is that you should retake DAT and get your carving score to above 20, that way you will have less chance ending up like me, missing the cut off by just maybe 3-4 people

If you do get an interview, you probably will have to score top 20% to get in

Someone got in UBC with 80.5% this year

However, he scored quite high on interview

Here is all I know

I hope this helps :D
