From Med.E.Mail - Volume 11, Number 39, June 16, 2003:

 

Of the 257 PGY1s starting their residency training with us in 2003/04, 39% received their MD from the UofT, 32% from other Ontario medical schools, and 14% from other Canadian medical schools. The remaining 15% are graduates of international medical schools -- 6% from the Ontario IMG program and 9% as visa-sponsored trainees.
