Guest Jazzey
Hi, I'm a little confused about U of T's policy of eliminating worst courses in GPA. I completed 4 years of undergrad. U of T will eliminate 4 full courses. At my school, a full course was 3 credits, and in a year, one would take 10 full courses. Will U of T therefore eliminate 12 credits? Or 24? Thanks! Guest thelaze
You may want to email the U of T admissions folk about this (they're pretty helpful), but my guess would be that 6 credits would equal one full course where U of T is concerned. Actually the 6 credit = 1 course is a formula used by a few different application systems (ie, AMCAS). Therefore 4 full courses is 24 credits. A better of thinking about it would probably be that your 8 worst courses would be dropped. Again, I'm just guessing, check with the admissions people to be sure.
