RapedByLifeSci
hey guys, so i was studying my kaplan prep book, and they tell me how to figure out angles in terms of cos and sin, but not for tan. for example, they somehow knew that tan theta = 4/3, therefore theta must be 53 degrees. uh... am i missing something? like a calculator? i don't know the exact conversion of tan to angles... what should I do? PCC
tan = sin/cos
thatonekid
I noticed that in some of the study guides, they solve for angles that would normally require a calculator. I think the important angles to know are the values of sin, cos, & tan for 0, 30, 45, 60, 90, and 180 degrees. Those are the basics and easy to figure out without a calculator.
