medguy5367
What would be the best places? Magazines, websites, etc. Hopefully nothing too technical.
thatonekid
There's always something interesting in the CMAJ. Some of it can get a bit technical though. It's also good to see what's new in med research. http://www.cmaj.ca/
silvrsleuth
ever since i did one of my masters placements in a hospital, i've started going to hospital rounds whenever i can. they can be tricky to find out about if you don't have a connection, but if you ask around you can get in on weekly rounds in an area of interest to you. plus, there's always a free lunch! send some emails to the education department at the hospital, or if you live in a town with a med school, contact the university, and ask about getting on the list of regular updates. however, if they're at all restrictive (which they shouldn't be... there are high school students in there!), you can do what i did when I wanted to go to a hospital that i didn't have a connection at- go to the hospital on a weekday during the lunch hour and say, "i'm here for rounds" and see where they point you too!
