mattg
Which med schools outside of Ontario are most likely to take Ontario applicants? (that don't require english) To my knowledge, Calgary, Dalhousie, McGill and Manitoba would be the ideal top 4? Any advise?
LostLamb
high biosci and VR scores needed for OOP at Calgary, do a search on their forum for the formula and exact scores...
supafield
Dal/Cal aren't bad.... it really depends on what your app is like.. Dal is similar to Western/Queen's in requirements for GPA/MCAT but give more review to a personal statement/EC's pre-interview. Sask requires 2 crazy good years %-wise (92.4% last year I believe) Alberta/UBC/Memorial are more full application type schools... cGPA, pre-reqs, and the whole shebang.. If you're looking for a pure numbers standpoint, I'm pretty sure Calgary has a fair amount of OOP spaces relative to most Canadian schools... Dal only has like 9. xi88
Dalhousie only accepts 9 OOP students each year. Cutoffs to get an interview are 3.7 GPA (2 best years), and 30 MCAT with at least 10 in each subject (a score of 9 is accepted in one subject, provided that the overall score is still at least 30).
