tekken3 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 how does alberta calcuclate gpa? is it best 3 years or is it the most recent 3 years? plus i emailed UofA asking o thier 4.0 scale, is an 85 considered a 4.0 or a 3.9 and they wouldn't answer me...does anyone know? She said that 79 was a 3.4 and that the rest scaled from there. From what I can tell I'm just going to use my OMSAS GPA and assume that my UofA one is similar. Kind of frustrating because other schools are pretty transparent about how they convert other schools grades. I mean, I don't want to be wasting my money and time if my GPA on the UofA scale isn't anywhere near the entrance average and it saves them the hassle of going through another app before tossing it into the bin.
