Withdrawn Courses - How does it affect GPA

Recommended Posts

How do Ontario schools (OMSAS) consider courses that were withdrawn from voluntarily into the overall GPA calculation?

I have not encountered that situation yet, but just in case, I might have to (this semester) :(

As long as the school does not assign a grade it does not affect you at all. However beware of its effects on the Toronto GPA calculation - if you go less than 10 courses for the year you cannot use it anymore.

Oh ya, I'm definitely aware of that. I don't have 10 full courses every year (as I have taken summer courses) so I didn't qualify for their weighting formula. But I will graduate with the right amount of credit hours.

Thanks!
