FMX
Are there schools that look at the best/most recent 60 credits? Or schools that look at general trends and weigh your GPA of most recent years more so than the first years? Thanks in advance ps: schools that are canadian friendly
trickybox
The general consensus for GPA is that all American schools (definitely Canadian friendly ones) really do look for and like to see a general upward trend in your GPA (if it started low, obviously). If you look through MD applicant profiles, many students with low freshman and sophomore GPAs and showed upward trends after were still very successful compared with consistently strong GPA applicants. I don't think there are any that look at your best/recent 60 credits.

Thanks in advance ps: schools that are canadian friendly AMCAS includes ALL post-secondary grades and that's what US schools go by. There is no "best 2 years/last 2 years" for US schools. Upward trends are looked upon favourably as mentioned in the post above.
