Guest snowpea
Just wondering if I should bring my old one. Thanks
Guest UWOMED2005
They'll give a really nice coat at whitecoat ceremony. Then you won't wear it.* And if you wear to it an orthopedics rotation (like one handsome young med student did 4 years ago), they might laugh at you. * Except for maybe cardiology at UH, and some other medical subspecialties. Guest snowpea
So I won't need it for anatomy labs or anything?
Guest blinknoodle
Yes, certainly bring your old labcoat for the anatomy lab (you wouldn't use your whitecoat for that). If you have a dissection kit, bring that too.
Guest UWOMED2005
Whoops! Forgot about the anatomy labs. . . been a few years since I've been up there. I do remember that if you need to borrow one for the year, the charge wasn't excessive. . .
Guest TimmyMax
Yeah, don't wear your White Coat to anatomy labs- that'd be just plain stupid! You can rent one for like $10 for the year! Timmy
