Do we need a labcoat?

They'll give a really nice coat at whitecoat ceremony.

 

Then you won't wear it.* And if you wear to it an orthopedics rotation (like one handsome young med student did 4 years ago), they might laugh at you.

 

* Except for maybe cardiology at UH, and some other medical subspecialties.

Yes, certainly bring your old labcoat for the anatomy lab (you wouldn't use your whitecoat for that). If you have a dissection kit, bring that too.

Whoops!

 

Forgot about the anatomy labs. . . been a few years since I've been up there.

 

I do remember that if you need to borrow one for the year, the charge wasn't excessive. . .
