Guest Bones
Hey there, I tried looking as much as I could on the McGill website to get a sense of what an "in-province" applicant means... what does one have to do to satisfy that? Also, does living in Hull qualify as living in Quebec for the purposes of McGill meds? Thanks
Guest roboboy69
Hi there, I've looked a bit into this myself and have found that there are several ways you can be considered a Quebec resident. For instance, if you were born in Quebec, you are considered a resident of Quebec. If you have lived in Quebec for one year (12 consecutive months) by the time you apply (and have not been a full-time student during those 12 months), you will be considered a Quebec resident. There are other ways you can be considered a Quebec resident as well, and these can be found here: upload.mcgill.ca/student-...nglais.pdf Living in Hull/Gatineau for 12 consecutive months by the time you apply (while not pursuing full-time study during those 12 months), will qualify you as a Quebec resident. Hope this helps, RB
