Comparing Med Programs

Does any know how well does McGill rank against top US medical schools like Duke, Hopkins and Columbia. Considering factors like cost, prestige and overall opportunities available which is the better overall choice given that you are bilingual and are willing to live in the US.

Prestige is overrated...and the fact that some universities publish more than others is due to many factors. Each program has strengths and weaknesses - choosing a school simply based on some list is lameeeeee.

Can that list even be used, since it's not ranking the actual medical schools of those institutions?

I say no since if anything it is looking at the research component...and that is not really that good of an indicator in itself since # of published articles generally correlates to funding resources.

FWIW, the list doesn't seem to have anything to do with medical programs given the fact that Princeton is on the list, and it doesn't have a medical school.
