3rd year courses in 3rd year?

Recommended Posts

Hey I'm an undergrad in mcmaster life sci, going into year 2

i was trying to figure out a tentative three year course plan, and for some reason i remember i need to have 6 third year courses IN year three.

I'm not sure why i was under this impression, but i want to be eligible for all canadian med schools, and as many american schools as i can.

so is this true? do i have to have a certain amount of courses intended for the year of study? (third year courses in third year, fourth in fourth)

Thanks in advance!

Ah, you're having the same revelation I had last year :P But luckily in fourth year, 60% can be 300 OR 400 level courses.

Although, it seems like many fourth year courses are stupid easy compared to third year ones, but whatever, take what you like/want.

really? 300 level courses huh.. that makes my life much easier lol. i was scrambling to find 4th year courses i would be eligible for (in my program it's very flexible, so I'm taking the easiest/most interesting courses, and as a general rule they don't really open up many 4th year courses for me)

anyways thanks for the info!
