whattodonow
Hey everyone, Just a quick inquiry for those who are currently in medical school. Based on your experiences, do you feel that an American Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) will have a harder time justifying their education in comparison to an IMG (to program directors, colleagues, patients, etc?). In medical school, do you find that students/professors even know about the degree or are they unfamiliar with it? I am just a little confused as Carms has recently allowed DOs to match back in Ontario and BC in the first iteration but I just don't know what their perception will be, if one does end up matching? Thanks
