Corneld
I just finished up reading a few threads regarding the removal of the MCAT from McGill's admission process but could not find much information regarding OOP cut-offs. I have a 3.88 cGPA with many ECs like firefighting, hospital jobs, volun....blah, blah blah, wont bore you... Is a 3.88 competitive as an OOP applicant? Caide
Most OOP applicants are 3.9+ so you're in the right area. Also, if you're planning on writing the MCAT for applying to other schools, you can still submit your scores if you do well.
future_doc
Is a 3.88 competitive as an OOP applicant? Yes, probably on the edge b/c of the amazing stats of applicants and the very limited numbers of OOPs accepted. It is absolutely essential to ace the Autobio Section of the Application and hepful yo have stellar LORs. The ABS should be simple, upbeat and catch their attention. GL!
